We believe that student learning is the chief priority of our school.

  • We believe that all students can learn.
  • We believe students learn best when they are actively engaged in problem solving and critical thinking learning experiences.
  • We believe curriculum and instructional practices should incorporate a variety of instructional approaches to accommodate differences in learning styles.
  • We believe each student is a valued individual with unique intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs.
  • We believe the commitment to continuous school improvement is essential.
  • We believe every child must acquire the skills, understanding, and attitudes that will enable him/her to be a positive, contributing member of our society.
  • We believe students are more successful when they accept responsibility for their actions and learning.
  • We believe cultural diversity can increase students' understanding of different peoples and cultures.
